Parents Anonymous, Inc. is a National Organization that promotes mutual support and parent leadership in order to build and support strong, safe families.

  1. Families will have free, immediate access to on-going, long-term support and education based on their own identified need for help.

The Top 10 Best Ways to Join with Parents Anonymous to More Effectively Strengthen Families

  1. Ask and provide what Parents Anonymous needs to grow and prosper.

  2. Tell every family about Parents Anonymous. Distribute brochures, display posters and discuss the program with family members. Adopt and produce Parents Anonymous outreach materials for parents.

  3. Invite Parents Anonymous staff and parents to provide training to volunteers and staff through initial and in-service trainings and unit meetings.

  4. Subscribe to The Parent Networker and distribute copies to all parents.

The Children's Program Mission and Goals

The mission of the Children's Program is to enhance the emotional growth and social development of children and youth of all ages by creating an environment where children can achieve the following goals:

  • Develop healthy social skills resulting in the ability to

    • express appropriate emotions

    • increase understanding and tolerance of others

    • enhance interpersonal skills

    • develop coping and problem solving skills

    • improve self-control

  • Increase their competencies and build self-esteem and self-confidence resulting in positive behavior changes.

  • Gain respite from their daily life stresses and have the opportunity to develop resiliency to face these stresses.

Parents Anonymous, Inc. is committed to ensuring that each Parents Anonymous group includes Parents Anonymous Children's Program where children blossom in a safe, predictable environment created by capable Children's Program Workers.
